I’m originally from Latvia but now reside in the U.K

Growing up, I loved the freedom of running around in fields, playing in the forest, and swimming in lakes, surrounded by family and friends. Latvia is a beautiful place. I always felt a little bit different from everyone else when I was younger. I loved animals, and I couldn’t help but want to save every creature that needed help. My mum didn’t always like this about me because I could cry for hours over a fly that I’d find unmoving by the windowsill.

I was grateful to have my grandmother who was my greatest teacher. She understood me in ways other people didn’t. Through her, I learned about the magic of kindness. She would do live readings for people, giving advice and helping them have hope and believe in themselves. She always had this magic in her, and she chose to use it for good. With both my grandmother’s inspiration and the help and support of my two amazing dogs, Echo and Pixel, I was inspired to write a children’s book as my way of giving back to the world. It’s an incredible feeling to know I can make a child happy through my stories.
